Deep Creek Lake is half a mile from the park gate. Wisp Resort is close enough that one guest called it just down the street.
Fair Week and Autumn Glory
Two events on the Garrett County calendar count as holidays at the park: Garrett County Fair Week, with the fair right next door, and the county's Autumn Glory Festival in the fall.
Holidays and holiday weekends carry a three-night minimum with a three-night deposit, so book early and plan to stay the stretch.
